Pony.ai announced that it had recently completed its C round financing of USD 267mn which was led by the Teachers’ Innovation Platform, a subsidiary of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan of Canada. Existing investors include Fidelity China Special Situations PLC, 5Y Capital (former name Morningside Venture Capital), ClearVue Partners and Eight Roads Ventures etc. have topped up their investments during this round of financing. The cumulative capital raised and the post-money valuation of the Company have exceeded USD 1.0 billion and USD 5.3 billion respectively.
