VMS Group Strengthens Public Equities Investment Capability with Appointment of Mr. Raymond Jook as Managing Director and Head of Equities

(Hong Kong, 15 April 2025) – VMS Group (“VMS” or “the Group”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Raymond Jook as Managing Director and Head of Equities, effective 15 April 2025. Mr. Jook will play a pivotal role in expanding VMS’s public markets initiatives, leveraging his deep expertise to develop public equity strategies and products.
Mr. Jook is a seasoned financial services professional with over three decades of experience in equities and portfolio management. Most recently, he served as Head of Equities at BOCHK Asset Management Limited, where he led a team of five and managed US, global, and Asia ex-Japan equity portfolios. His recent accolades include winner of “Global Multi-Asset (5 Years)” at Asia Asset Management’s 2025 Best of the Best Awards and winner of “Best Total Return – Multi-Asset Allocation (1 year, 3 years, and 5 years)” at Bloomberg Offshore China Fund Awards 2024. Prior to this, he was Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Avant Capital Management (HK) Limited, where he oversaw investment strategies and operations. His extensive career also includes senior roles at Keywise Capital Management, SBI E2-Capital Asia Securities, UBS, and SG Securities, where he honed his expertise in equity research, trading, and portfolio management.
