(Hong Kong, 3 January 2023) – VMS Group (“VMS” or “the Group”) is pleased to announce Mr. Jianming Zou has joined the Group as Head of Private Equity on 3 January 2023. Mr. Zou brings to VMS his extensive investing expertise, and will be responsible for the Group’s Private Equity Business, while continuing to build on VMS’s established presence in Greater China. His appointment is a key pillar of VMS’s strategic growth plan.

An industry veteran, Mr. Zou has over 20 years of professional experience in the private equity and financial services industry, bringing to VMS his deep industry knowledge and expertise in private equity investments and management. Prior to joining VMS, he has been a Partner for a leading China-focused private equity firm, New Horizon Capital, for over 14 years, based in Beijing. Before that, Mr. Zou was an Associate Director at Starr International Investment Advisors, where he was responsible for executing their strategic and private equity investment strategy in the APAC region. He also held roles with Goldman Sachs and CICC in his early career.
