VMS Invested HAI Robotics Raised US$100mn in Series D+ Round
We are pleased to announce that VMS invested company HAI Robotics (the “Company”) has successfully secured over US$100mn in a Series D+ round of financing. The lead investor is Capital Today, and co-investors include a top US dollar fund and existing shareholders 5Y Capital, Source Code Capital, Sequoia Capital and 01VC. This is the third round of financing the Company completed within the past 12 months.
The proceeds will be used for R&D upgrade of warehousing robotics systems and global business expansion. The Company aims to offer more efficient, intelligent and flexible warehousing robotics products to address labor shortage and cope with the challenges brought by the aging population.
Founded in 2016, HAI Robotics is a pioneer in autonomous case-handling robot (ACR) systems for warehouse logistics. The warehouse robotics industry will be in significant demand as it enables businesses to improve logistics efficiency, lower labor cost and ultimately elevate the bottom line. Differentiating itself from the traditional Kiva robots, HAI Robotics attains an absolute dominant position in the autonomous case-handling robotics market. The Company now has more than 500 projects globally and has offices in the U.S., Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, serving customers from more than 30 countries and regions.
